Ubuntu in VPS
Ubuntu is available with all our VPS packages and you can buy a VPS running it in less than sixty minutes. 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the OS are available, so that you can pick the one which you need when the software that you would like to run on the server has specific system requirements regarding this. You can also select if your Ubuntu-powered VPS should be installed without a Control Panel, in which case you'll have full root access and you will be able to set up anything using a console; or if the Hepsia Control Panel should be set up on it, in which case you will have an online interface and all needed web server, MySQL, FTP, electronic mail server, etc. software will be pre-installed. The root access in the second case will be more restricted, but such a installation is more efficient for users with less experience. We can also keep your Ubuntu up-to-date regularly when you add the Managed Services upgrade. You will be able to do so throughout the VPS order process or at any later time from your billing Control Panel.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Hosting
Ubuntu is one of the Operating System options which you will find on our order page when you decide to get one of our dedicated hosting. We will set up the 32-bit or the 64-bit edition, to match the system requirements of the apps that you'd like to install on the server. You may also select the software that will run on your machine, because we will set up only the Apache web server software, so the rest can be custom software of your choice. You are able to install the latter without any problems by using a Secure Shell console, as you will receive root-level access and you'll have full control of your hosting server. You are free to set up a hosting Control Panel too and manage some things via a graphical interface, as long as it can function on an Ubuntu-driven machine. To make things easier, we also offer a Managed Services upgrade, that, among other things, comes with Operating System upgrades.
