A catch-all feature that is activated for a given e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise stated, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten address under the exact same domain name, you’ll receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be essential in case you run some business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk emails, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filtering software in order to receive only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

Setting up a catch-all email mailbox will be very easy if you have a shared hosting package with our company. You can enable this option through our advanced, yet easy-to-work-with Email Manager, which is an indivisible part of the Hepsia Control Panel, via which you’ll administer the web hosting account itself. You will see all the email addresses that you’ve set up displayed alphabetically and on the right side of each of them there will be a small "Catch-all" icon, which will quickly reveal to you if a specific mailbox receives all the email messages pertaining to a certain domain name or not. With one click on the icon you can enable or disable this feature whenever you like. In case there is enabled email forwarding or in case another mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a specific domain name, you’ll get a warning notice from our system. The latter will not disable/replace anything automatically or without your consent.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each semi-dedicated server package that we are offering will allow you to configure a catch-all email mailbox without any efforts even if you do not have much web/email hosting experience. All you have to do to achieve that is click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right-hand side of each email address that you’ve set up with your domain names in the Email Manager section of the hosting Control Panel. As you can have just one mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will warn you if you have already created a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding activated. In case you decide that you do not want this feature anymore, you can remove it by clicking again on the exact same icon. The Email Manager section will also permit you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
